I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 64-bit and NPVR. I had a few recordings scheduled while I slept. All of them ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour only recorded for 1 minute and 57 seconds. I looked through the log files but none have the date and time the recordings happened. Any ideas why that happened?

I dont know. Post the logs next time it happens and I'll see if anything stands out. Hard to guess without the logs.

I was sure 1.57 rang a bell - a very old one!

I think the 1:57 bug is on back-to-back recordings, when the post-padding time on the first recording finishes, it kills the graph that is being used to record the second recording.

2004, and in the old GBPVR app... I'm pretty sure that wont be the same bug.

I'v been meaning to ask for a while Sub, is there a way to keep more than 3 generations of logfiles?

Come to think of it, they were back-to-back recordings.

I had a back-to-back recording auto scheduled earlier today. The first one recorded the full length of the show. The next only recorded 58 seconds. Both were suppose to be an hour long. Which log file is needed to see this? Mine are kind of long. Here is a cut and paste from NRecord at the time the second recording started...

There is a known issue in the current release with analog back to back recordings that can cause the second recording to cut off at the time the first recording was due to finish (which using the defaults is usually a couple of seconds less than two minutes post padding). It's been fixed for the next release.
