Trying to get to nova-s usb tuners to run together

plug one in tune stations= all good
plug the one in tune stations= all good

plug both in together with the lnb out connected to the second tuner= no good
scans on both tuners but no stations found
both tuners are seen correct in npvr (tuner and #2)

Are there any tweaks I need to do to make them play nice together on the same LNB

I take it you are daisy chaining the tuners?. I would be worried of things like both trying to supply power and polarisation signals.
I know NZ uses a single polarisation, but other places don't and have to use multiple output LNB's to work.
You may be better using a splitter rather than daisy chaining??
I think this will have to be a NZ specific answer??

Yeah i did wonder that so i tried a splitter
I even tried it without lnb linked to one but both powered up and usb connected
As soon as i have 2 connected they dont scan (usb connected i am talking about)
Almost seems like a driver issue (not that i know anything)

Are they on the same USB hub? Try plugging them into USB ports that are as far away as physically possible to test (on the same machine, obviously Tongue ).

Yeah I did have that thought its on a netbook (pushing the boundaries I know) so i was using the 2 usb ports on the right side of the machine.I have one more on the other side i will try one each side.

Normally when I've come across that then one works but the second is ignored.
There again, I thought Hauppauge were better than most with their drivers and multiple tuners.

Hmmm, googling makes me think it may be a Technotrend device. If so is it their driver?

edit: - this makes me think it could be a driver problem (last post)
