Unlike GBPVR which (IIRC) used hauppauge's way to channel tuning numbering, (edit: this was incorrect... my bad) NPVR uses Microsoft's frequencies for analog tuning. Having a link to the frequency tables for international analog TV tuning under the "Add Channel Dialog" section might help others. I went round n' round trying to figure it out, until sub pointed me to these tables...

What do you mean? GBPVR and NextPVR both use the same approach to analog tuning as far as I can tell. Both based on the Microsoft frequency tables.

I meant the channel number you input has channel frequency source for hauppauge cards. In gbpvr the my channel number/frequency setup is different from the one I have to input in NPVR (hence my hauppauge channel/frequencies table vs. microsoft frequencies).

EDIT: Hum... After writing this I went back to microsoft's site. I think I found _my_ "problem". gbpvr doesn't have Portugal as option in setup, so I always used Spain's settings... I assume they were the same... it seems they're not. I edited my previous post accordingly.

To complete this confusion: It's indeed possible to "tune" the microsoft frequencies. Perhaps sub can remember it, that there were a time where i had problems tuning channels within germany with GB-PVR. So i played around with the tuning spaces from microsoft, which worked at this time.
But meanwhile this isn't neccessary anymore and i am happy about this improvement.
