• fixed a rendering problem where initial display was not being cleared
  
• fixed a bug where Album Art wouldn't cycle on the last track in a playlist

Does this screen saver work with the default skin? I installed it and played with it in Music mode for a while. However, it now seems stuck in Music mode. No matter what screen I let it go to screen saver in, I just get a "No Music Playing" message, even when I'm not in the Music screen. Shouldn't the screen mode change for recordings, TV Guide, etc? I first used it from a Media MVP, and have no plugins installed, if that matters.

I really like the display in music mode. It has the ability to display a lot of information. Now I just need to figure out how to get it to work with the non-music stuff.

SSPlus will work with any skin. Currently there are three 'Modes' - playing music, playing Web Radio and not playing. In any of these 'Modes' you can set/change your preferred view using the right/left arrow keys while you are in that mode. I normally use the NPVR logo view in not playing mode. A photo slideshow mode is currently under development.

Its great that you like the music mode - there are several different views showing various levels of detail.

OK, so it's mostly working right. How do I get it to go back to the NPVR logo when no music is playing? Right now I just keep getting the "Nothing to see here..." screen.

So far my favorite music view is the smaller blue one. Lots of info, full song title, next song queued, etc. Nice work!

(BTW, do you ever sleep? Isn't it around 3AM in Scotland right now? ) :eek:

As long as you haven't accidentally lock that view for that mode.....

"You can lock your favorite views by pressing the 'home/info' key followed by the 'left' or 'right' cursor/arrow key (these same keys will un-lock a view)"

Aha! Pilot error. I thought it would automagically detect the no music mode and switch to the logo. :o

It will once you have selected the views the first time....

For a new clean install the first time SSPlus kicks in it will display an intro-instruction view telling you which mode you are in (PlayingMusic/WebRadio/NoMusicPlaying) & asking you to select a view for that mode, on changing modes (ie. pressing stop to stop music playing) it will then again display the intro-instruction view but this time it will say you are in NoMusicPlaying Mode & then again you need to move through the views to select the one you prefer.. the next time you enter a mode you have used before it will remember your selection from the last time.

I think you had a play with the earlier version & therefore already have a SSP config & that may be what is confusing you??
