Reading this thread, am I right in assuming the gbpvr uses the standard Hauppauge dongle.bin and does not have its own?

Yes, it does use the standard dongle.bin

GBPVR has a copy of the dongle.bin in the program. It does not use the dongle.bin file that loads with the hauppauge software. That is why you really don't need any hauppauge software loaded for the MVP to work. My understanding is that Sub has been using the same one for some time now, but I do not know which one it is. I copied a newer one into GBPVR (dongle folder)to try it and ran into stability problems. I am currently using one from back in December or so. It is the same size and acts like the "stock" GBPVR file.
