nDroid v1.6.x support thread

Thanks for looking into the situations. I don't know if it makes a difference, I saw there was a new version of GBPVR released last week but I'm still on 2.2.6.

I want to echo macgyver and say thanks as well. The update guide is a minor annoyance but the 'not recording' was more of an issue.

The fact you're still running 2.2.6 shouldn't be a problem as that was the version I was running when I did the last few updates to the nDroid app and service.

I appreciate your thanks. I can definitely understand the 'not recording' would be frustrating. At least if it had told you it couldn't schedule the requests you'd have had an option to do something about it (phone home for example).

BTW, the next version of nDroid will require updating your setup to npvr 2.3.x as sub made some significant changes to the npvr database structure which UJB has reflected in the latest NEWA. It would be too difficult for me to make nDroid backwardly compatible at this stage although a future release may be able to do it.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for this great app! I've been using it for a few weeks and I like it very much. I'm able to wake my nextpvr server from anywhere with my phone, and with your app I'm able to schedule recordings. Brilliant!

Thanks Chris, glad you like it.

It still has a few issues in the current release version but hopefully they're fixed for next release aimed for this weekend or early next week.
