Scheduled EPG update results in empty tv guide, EPG update from setup works

I've noticed my TV guide is sometimes empty . The EPG update ran just fine, but there are almost no listings. When I run the EPG update from the setup menu, everything is fine. So I decided to reschedule the EPG to 1 PM in stead of at night, to make sure it isn't a broadcast problem, and the result is the same. Shortly after the scheduled update today, I ran it form the setup menu again and the guide was filled again. So I've got two sets of logs for you.

I'v noticed that if I run epg update from the System plugin, I have to quit NextPVR and restart it to see the updated epg.

I must quit/restart using TVlistings+Xtras also.
The guide does update but I do not see "extras" until restart.
Is there a fix for this?

Is this a TVlistings or a NPVR plugins issue as it seems to be common with two plugins (System and TVListings)? Unless RD is using the TVListings +Extras also.

Same problem as yesterday, you are mixing TVListings posts with NextPVR.

It also no longer marks pending recordings in red (in the guide) until after an exit either. All the plugin does is calls sub's code to execute an update - it doesn't really do anything itself.

I haven't no, but that sounds ideal. I was wondering if it needed some sort of reload event, but the only one I was aware of was RELOAD_SETTINGS.

I had a similar problem over three mornings around that time where some channels had a fully populated 8 day EPG and others had no data. It seemed random as it was not related to channels on the same mux. Doing a manual EPG update sorted the problem. I never found the cause of the problem but it has not returned since.
