If you meant the logs, here is one for each reader.

Do you have a short 4:3 HDPVR recording I can download?

I can but are you sure it is necessary? That wasn't an HDPVR recording (they are unwatchable anyway), all my mpeg2 videos stay 4:3 from QAM, ATSC and analog

@Martin - the audio starts before the video, but the difference is very short. With the new reader and the new npvr.exe, the video during the skip has changed. For some short skips, an intermediate frame appears, then the audio starts, and then a new frame begins playing. Long skips do not usually have the intermediate frame. The starting frame freezes, audio starts at the new point, and then the new video starts. However, all of this takes no more than 2 seconds, and frequently 1 second. In the previous versions, the video immediately skipped to the new frame, then waited for 10-15 secs, then audio started and an instant later the video began playing Make sense?

My skips are long forward - 60 secs, short forward - 15 secs, long back - 30 secs, short back - 15 secs.

I think this one fixes it.

Yes almost. For the HDPVR (with stuttering on crashes), on any 16x9 or 4x3 in live tv (not recordings) I never get the expected block

2012-02-26 18:41:31.206 [DEBUG][1] Aspect ratio now: 16x9
2012-02-26 18:41:31.207 [DEBUG][1] Resolution is now: 1920x1080
2012-02-26 18:41:31.207 [DEBUG][1] Source Aspect Ratio: 16x9

I do get the audio message so it is checking for it.

2012-02-26 18:52:24.212 [DEBUG][1] Reference clock was already se correctly. No change required.

Saving the rolling file and playing it in the video library works.

It does for me!

I copied over all the shinny new files, recorded four bits and bobs and played all four back.

I skipped forward and back, little skips and big skips and number then skip, and it was all good.

Thank you muchly.

Graham

PS I know why it now works. It's cos I spent time today fannying about to get PVRX2 up and running in W7. Oh! The Irony!
