[NPVR 2.3.6] Incomplete automatic EPG update

Just to say that I applied the patch yesterday, and still have a full epg, so that might have fixed it for me - will check on it regularly over the next couple of days.

Seems also that the EPG doesn't get updated during Live TV in quite the same way as it used to, although maybe that's just a coincidence.

Apparently the patch didn't work after all - although my epg stayed full for a couple of days, I then realised no programs had been recorded as I had forgotten to turn the recording service back on after applying the patch. A day or so after turning the service back on I noticed that no programs had recorded because the epg was once again virtually empty. (My internet bandwidth usage has increased slightly this week

Yes.

It's odd, because I'm just not seeing the problem here.

Here you go, I restarted the recording service on Wednesday evening. I manually reloaded the listings last night - 3 News and the Graham Norton Show would have been scheduled normally, but the guide was obviously blank at that stage.

my epg wasnt updating properly when i used copy over to next tuner(whatever its called) if i let each tuner do its own scan it was fine

Since I've been using the patch I still experience days when the EPG has gaps. The EPG also doesn't seem to populate when on Live TV anymore.

I'd post the logs, but for some reason the EPG didn't update at all last night (set to update at 4 AM, last log entry at 12:10 AM). Have restarted recording service and will report again tomorrow.

I think I'm seeing the same or similar problem... often, when I first look at the "TV Guide" screen, many (but not all) channels say "(no show details)" or some such wording. If I then watch a channel for a few seconds, and then go back to the "TV Guide" screen, many (but, again, not all) of these have been replaced by up to date information. 2.3.6 + R1 patches, UK Sandy Heath transmitter.
