It looks like it's failing on ffmpeg but I'll need to add some more logging to find out exactly why. Do you have ffmpeg installed to the location set in youtube.xml?

Yes I have, but it is of course possible I've made some stupid mistake Smile. I could test some more tonight, in about 10 hours.

I'll try to have another build with more logging for you this evening but I'm pretty swamped so it may not happen. You can also try setting "useBufferNMT=false" to disable ffmpeg altogether and see if it plays.

Nope. Sorry, I've been a little busy starting a new company since I can't find a job. If I can't make money, I may as well spend it, right? Big Grin

I will be back on this project next week.

I was getting crashes on playback with the latest version. To fix it I had to edit youtube.xml to set the correct location of ffmpeg.exe. So in my case
<FFmpegPath>C:\users\Public\NPVR\Plugins\Youtube\ffmpeg.exe</FFmpegPath>
(My version of ffmpeg.exe is from 27 Jan 2012)

also Bufferlocation was set to a folder called Youtube within my %TEMP% folder. I had to create this folder.

hth anyone currently experiencing similar problems.

I think ffmpeg is only needed if you are using save to disk option, but if you do it does have to be configured manually. The thread is long but whurlston did write some notes http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post430262
