Show channel numbers?

With v17 and Zap2it, I noticed that channel numbers are no longer seen in the OSD or guide, anyway to get them back, and show both callsign and number?

With the USA xmltv feed, they prepend the channel numbers to the channel names. I'm not sure why they've done this. The rest of the world's XMLTV files dont do this.

I've had a couple of request for this so, I'll see if I can come up with something.

Also, I noticed with zap2it as well, program episode tittles are still not present. Is there somehow a way to add that info to the EPG? Great work sub. Using Zap2it it much easier for everyone but xmltv is not to hard either. I tried the listings from zap2it but went back to xmltv because there is no channel #. Channel chaning is more or less the same speed witch isn't bad. What stands out most about this program to me though is the sound. The sound is great. It is much better than the sound of windvr which came with my tv tuner card.

If they are present in the listing, then sub titles (episode names) are shown.

Move around in the TV Guide and compare the show name in the grid with the programme details at the bottom. If the sub title is present, the sub title is shown in the programme details in place of the title.

Yeah I've noticed those 2 big drawbacks in zap2it also. No channel numbers and no episode names. Now, in v0.16, even with xmltv, there were no episode names. Now with 0.17, there ARE episode names *with* xmltv, but not with zap2it. Unfortunately xmltv is a lot more "manual" to work with but I'd rather have that, with my channel numbers and episode names than just guess with zap2it.

Episode names should also be present with the zap2it EPG source.

Ok you're right I just double checked. Epsiode names are in there with zap2it.

Thanks sub. Yup episode tittles are present. Do you know why recorded videos are larger than expected? Is it a bug or is it a mistake in the program information. Thanks.
