Great. Glad you got it sorted.

Quote:The issue is that it will change channels just fine from DVB-T <=> DVB-T channels using the OSD miniguide, but from DVB-T <=>Cable channel using my Analog Card requires me going out into the TV Guide and back into the new channel - it will NOT change between tuners. Is this by design???
Why, what happens if you try to change from a DVB-T channel to an analog channel?

You'll probably need to post the logs.

Are you DVB-T channels MPEG2 or H.264?

jksmurf, based on the vlc capture in post #1 you might need to rescan since it looks like the file is h264 but all the NPVR logs shows that you have trying to play only mpeg2 channels (service type 1)

This has been bugging the heck out of me too.

I was about to reply to subs post saying that the Stream info in post #1 says it is H264, but when I finally got it working with ffmpeg, and hovered over the red square ffv tray icon, it said soemthing like "INPUT MPEG2 in H264" (I am at work right now but will send a screen grab later), then "OUTPUT NV12" (all from memory). The quality didn't look too hot either, it actually looked better via the NMT. The thing is I do have an H264 decoder (several actually, with COREAVC, ffmpeg, LAV etc), but IIRC none worked.

I'm pretty sure your problem stems from some of the channels misreporting their type in Hong Kong, so the app is trying to deliver H.264 misrepresented as MPEG2 to the video decoder. I remember this from the past. Not sure how we got around it before.

Here's the channel change logs.
Will play with the scan later.

Sub, I have jksmurf's database and I was going to patch it for him. One tuner show service type 1 and the other service type 2 if that makes a difference. I was going to just set them to 25. What is thpe 2?

2 is usually used for an MPEG1-Layer2 audio only service. ie, DVB Radio.
