Ah okay, very strange...so, what key on the keyboard I would have to press to increase decrease the volume in NPRV? I couldn't find any shortcut for it.

Does your keyboard not have volume keys ?
NEXTpvr doesnt have any control over volume so there are no shortcut keys (that i know of)

you could load up another program like "HIP"

Yes, I do not have such a multi media keyboard, no volume controls...ah, yes, the Fn-shortcuts on my Notebook, yes, now I see, they work, and I see the volume display, okay, that it is....

I use 3RVX - it has some nice skins available which go well with NPVR and it has Hot key support and works with the MCE Remote natively.
Can download from softpedia etc.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives
