Client tv Guide

When I set recordings from a client if recordings are already set it tells me i have to cancel
2 tuners dvb-s one only has tvnz the other only canwest stations
if im recording tv1 it will let me record tv2
but if i try and record tv3 or tv4 or prime (canwest) while already having tvnz stations recording it will say i have to cancel

Works fine on server

also works fine from newa

Can you reproduce this, then post the npvr.log?

says its been used bla bla never had that before

edit could be teracopy issue ??
Ok nothing has changed just terracopy cant access files while they are been used

(leaving here so I remember next time why it didnt work)

The logging stuff hasn't changed in pretty much forever. I can still open log files while it's in use.

You can open logs with some editors and copy them, but you typically can't zip them when they are in use.

it was teracopy (makes transfer faster from xp to w7 i have found)
I turned that off and all was ok

More importantly can you see why my client wont set recordings

Unfortunately the logs didn't contain as much useful info as I'd hoped.

I'll be able to look into it more closely tomorrow (with a patch) if you bump the thread. My office and equipment is in a heap in another room today while I re-carpet.

you can with the windows built-in zip tools. other tools like 7-zip don't work when files are open though.
