What do I have to pay so I don't get these !@#$%^ing colour picture adds displaying at the top of the forum pages, that Chrome one (which wouldn't come up when I tried to get a screen capture...of course) is the worse I have seen so far & I find them bloody distracting.

Sorry, I wondered if they'd piss people off. I'm trying to make a few extra dollars for the project.

I'd appreciate other opinions too. Be honest guys, dont hold back. Let me know if you hate them. If they're unpopular, we'll go back to the static ads.

I don't mind the new ads at all.

What gets me about all the ads, here and elsewhere, is that they keep telling me about things I already purchased. I recently switched my mobile phone to Straight Talk mobile, now every 3rd ad on every site is for Straight Talk. I recently researched and then purchased a Xerox ColorQube printer for a client, now every 3rd ad is for Xerox. We have our car insurance with 21st century, I think my wife went to their site recently for some reason, and now every 4th ad is for 21st century. What is the point of pushing ads for things I already bought? Right now it's showing me an ad for a Fluke Thermal Imager... well, that one I have no idea why.

This tells me that Google or whoever it is knows way too much about what I've been doing online... I really ought to start blocking ad cookies.

Doesn't bother me either. They're practically invisible to my brain, and like johnson, I already bought most of them.

Which was why I said

I was being quite serious that I am willing to pay for the pleasure of not seeing them so as you are not out of pocket... if I could also have it so the space they currently take up disappeared & everything moved up the page so much the better... Oh & it's only the add's at the top that bother me all the rest are fine.

I hadn't noticed them ... this is probably not the correct answer ... I guess that Sub only gets paid if we click on the ads.

I promise that I will try and remember to click on at least one ad on each and every single day.

I don't even notice the ads. As long as you don't get those that cover the entire page when you hover over them I'm fine. Oh yeah, I hate ads that make noise - freaks me out sometimes b/c it's going through my unused plugged in headphones and I'm wondering where that sound is coming from.

So do you make more money if I click on them? Also, are the ads coming from a trusted site? I used to frequent a website that I didn't think was sketchy but my virus checker kept warning me about an ad.

Yes, but they'd notice if you or I sat their clicking them all the time.
