BBC Satellite parameters change on the 27th Sept.

Moves to 8PSK (& fec 2/3)

Currently the tuning ini is:

10847,V,23000,89,69
[Pilot off_Normal_35_S2_QPSK]

Does this change to:
10847,V,23000,23,70]
[Pilot off_Normal_35_S2_8PSK]?

Surmised from this thread -

Server = P4; win7; 2.8gHz 3gb ram; NAS; NPVR 2.5.5
Tuners = HVR4000 (s2); Technisat skystar USB, Haup 909; Maplin 9015 dual (A54HQ)
Clients = MVP, XTreamer, Viera, Viewsonic (Maplin A45KZ)

The latter string seemed to bring BBC1 HD & BBC HD back to life this morning.

So do all Freesat users need to change the file and retune? Can anybody supply an updated file?

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...nformation

Although the quickest way is to edit the file so the top part reads:

Code:
[SATTYPE]
1=28.2
2=FREESAT ONLY (28.2E)

[DVB]
[U][B]0=1

1=10847,V,23000,23,70[/B][/U]

1=10714,H,22000,56
2=10729,V,22000,56
3=10744,H,22000,0
...

Then it'll only rescan that one transponder. Waaay quicker.

..and NPVR simply notes the scanned channels exist & flags them as updated.

No, it picked it up for me by just rescanning, and listed the two channels (kinda greyed out) with names like BBC One HD (updated).
