Recording Indicator on screen

I have noticed that when a show is recording the "Currently Recording" display stays on the screen for a long long time after it finishes. Is this normal?

I haven't noticed it, but it's probably an xbmc bug. I dont specifically tell it to display a currently recording indicator. I just tell it the list of recordings and it's showing it automatically.

Thanks as chatty as their protocol is exchanging recording, channel and guide info, you would think they could have handled this better.
