You'll need to reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the xbmc.log, web.log, and nrecord.log. Make sure you've got that patch applied so I get the new log messages.

XBMC become erratic so I updated to the 14/10/12 build with the 10/10/12 pvr add-on but if it happens again I will post the logs.

just a quick update on this, after applying the patch i havent experienced this issue again.

but if it does happen again, ill update.

Wow, I see this thread is 6 years old, but I am having the same issue. I watch a live stream for 15-30 seconds and it will randomly jump back to the begging. I see there was a patch mentioned in this thread, I am not sure where to find it and how to apply it. Any help would be great.

Where is your video coming from? ie, what type of device, or is it coming from IPTV?

I am using an IPTV service. I have NextPVR installed on my windows machine, but I mostly use the Kodi addon to watch and record my streams (which is on a separate device... my android TV). The jump back does not happen every single time, it's random. Sometimes it will only jump back once and sometime it will do it a few times throughout a show I am watching.

Try this updated NShared.dll first:

If that doesn't help, you'll need to post your logs so we can take a look.

Ok so do i just place the .dll file in this locations ( C:\Users\Public\NPVR ) ??

Run the "Stop NPVR Service" shortcut, then drop the file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR", then run the "Start NPVR Service"
