multiple tuners with IR blaster outputs how does IRSS know?

ok...can't figure out how to learn the IR commands. When I try the haupblast.exe it's looking for hcwirblast.dll. How do I get it? Do I have to run through the WinTV7 software so that it installs the dll?

haupblast.exe is only 5 lines of code which does nothing more than asks the Hauppauge IR software to tune to channel X. You need to have installed and configured the Hauppauge IR software.

It doesn't really need anything from WinTV7, but I'm not sure if Hauppauge supplies a separate download of the IR software. I'm pretty sure it used to be available as a separate download.

ok now I've installed the IR software and when I run it it complains that chsuite.ocx can't be found. I found it in syswow64 but the logs say that it should be in system32. Anyway I tried to register it and it wouldn't register saying it is not valid.

When in run haupblast.exe it doesn't give me an error anymore. But I don't have a way of configuring the IR blaster.

I'm an idiot. I've got the hvr 1800 and it doesn't have an it blaster. I jut assumed that all non-MCE cards had a blaster port.
