HDHomerun tuners. I only have US ATSC available so only have the ATSC tuners enabled in the device list.
Everything works in HDHR.
I can use NPVR because channels from previous versions are still there.
However, I tried a new device scan because the devices show 1 no-longer-available channel and lacks 4 newer ones that I know about. I was trying to get NPVR channel listing to match HDHR configuration listing.
I've checked for firewall blocking. None found.
No error messages found.

Any ideas for anything else to check?

I'm sure it's is firewall software blocking communication between HDHR and NextPVR.exe. The logs sjpw all the normal HDHR clues for this. ie, valid signal on many frequencies, but no data ever delivered so no channels ever reported.

I'm at wit's end trying to find what blocking is going on. What type communication goes on between HDHR and NPVR to get the channels?
I've used multiple computers, with three different firewalls, and get the same result. The common element is the network router but its log shows nothing being blocked, and HDHR software gets the channel info so I know it doesn't get blocked.

Thank you.

From previous users, it sounds like it's usually the built-in Windows firewall causing the issue. They usually have to end up adding exceptions for nextpvr.exe, nrecord.log and ndigitalhost.exe

In post one it says you have access to old channels. Can you still watch and record from them?

Sub meant to say nrecord.exe

Not using built in Windows firewall, though I did disable the ones I do use and tried it with the exceptions. No change.
Yes, I can still watch and record using the existing channel definitions built by previous versions.

Are you sure you're not using the built-in firewall? Some HDHR users have been surprised in the past to find that the Windows firewall had reenabled itself and they had two firewalls in use. All signs in your logs point to being firewall related.

This points to nextpvr.exe (which is responsible for scanning) not being able to get data from your HDHR. Nrecord.exe which is used for recording and live tv must be able to get data.

Yes, went to control panel, clicked on the firewall and verified it was set to off. I just did another test of turning it on, with exceptions, and disabling my usual firewall. The usual firewall prompts with a "are you sure?" type process and Windows validated that it's firewall was on. Still no channels in a scan.
Switched back now to usual firewall. It prompts to disable built-in firewall.
