jksmurf Wrote:Nope. Simply not there. Checked the xml as well, it doesn't seem to actually add it and stick.
One first try, my manually added one (directly to the xml) disappeared as well, after exit/restart.
Strange. This is working for me. I'll add a bunch of logging to see if we can debug it.
Quote:The second time I tried a manually added one it seems to have stuck, but it doesn't get downloaded, just says "please wait while the list is downloaded" ... ?
The urls need to be added using the API format. It looks like you added http://youtu.be/pzdEhQ3CG5I but it should be https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos/pzdEhQ3CG5I for a single video (the last section of the url being the video id).

@UJB, I might be able to retrieve a list of trailers with the right combination of search terms. I'll look into it as soon as I get jksmurf squared away.

Aha, I see, sorry about that. Will try that instead. Much to learn, thanks for all your patience.

For adding the feed item in settings, I can have another go tonight if you like (I am at work now) as I dropped YouTube.dll in alone and got the logs, but then I thought I'd try the folders, and (correct me if I am wrong) I think there was also a change to NextUtility.dll (I hope this name was correct, all from memory). I also did not stop/restart the service before I took logs, so could it be that?

No problem. Instructions aren't my strong suit so I make them up as I go along. Big Grin

I think the only change was to the YouTube.dll but reload NextUtility.dll as well to be on the safe side. You shouldn't need to restart the NRecord service. Restarting NextPVR.exe should be all you need to do (close it before replacing files).

You're logs do show the correct version of the dlls being loaded though so I think we are still back to adding more logging.

Found the problem with adding custom URLs. It would only have manifested if you do not have any custom searches defined which is why it worked for me but not for you. Make sure to update both dlls

I think I found a source for trailers with the following categories:

Official Trailers: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5...e=view_all
New Releases (out this weekend): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD...NDJEU-_SJW
Weekend Box Office: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9...e=view_all
Coming Soon: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9B73A60298557259

I might change the Trailers feed to be similar to the Custom URLs so that you can add/edit your own trailer feeds.

Coolio! Thanks whurslton.
Can I assume I should still not try to "add the "v=2" parameter to all requests" just yet right?

k.

Hmmm....that last format doesn't seem to work. Is there an alternative format?

I added these....but it just sits at the "Please wait while the list is being downloaded" prompt. Tried them all.....
