Hey guys,

if you've been using youtube xl you might have noticed that it's changed. For me it's changed to the point where it was broken. After I sign in the whole interface is changed and broken. Anyway so I started looking into Youtube Leanback which has now changed to Youtube TV and I have to say it looks pretty snazzy. It's a whole 10 ft interface using your remote control. For the bling factor it looks good, but I find it not as simple and easy to use as XL. Anyway, thought I'd let people know as it's a decent improvement in many ways.

I think the "coolest" thing is that it can be controlled by your smartphone as well since it can do internet pairing. So you can queue it through smartphone and send it to your TV. I don't have a smartphone so someone else can figure that part out.

yes you can use the keyboard! Just move over to the letters under the text field then move up. You should then be able to use the keyboard.

To what version? I tested with IE9 on Win7 and IE10 on Win8. If it doesn't work in IE, I'm not interested.

I got it working in Win XP FF 16 (newest update as of yesterday) and on a Win 7 X64 Chrome setup. I also tried it on IE and that didn't work either.

The reason I found this out yesterday was that I tried moving over from youtubeXL to youtubeTV and I only got a black screen with a youtube logo on it. I upgraded firefox and it all worked.

I think they are heavily revamping youtubTV everyday.

Oh yeah...now I can't use keyboard inputs either. I was pretty sure that I was able to before.
