That's usually an indication that it's not buffering fast enough and the player source filter is getting starved and calling EndOfStream. Try increasing your <PCBufferKB> to 2048 or higher and see if it does the same thing. Also try setting the PC default stream to MP4 instead of WEBM

I already tried that, even went to 4096.
But the PC setting to true doesn't seem to work whatever the buffer ?

Does it do the same thing if you use a different h.264 video decoder (the logs show ffdshow being used)?

Also try clearing your YouTube cache before increasing the buffer.

Yup, unfortunately it does. PDVD12 still catches up with the buffer and then pops out of the feed. Have not tried any other ones yet.

Yup already changed that one.

Hi whurlston,

Anything else I can try to help run this down, it's always hopping out regardless of buffer size, decoder used, cache cleared, stream type. Best I got it to was ~3mins but buffer itself does not seem to grow properly, it is a fixed number and the stream eventually catches up with that size.

k.

Sorry, I've been sick for a week with the flu. I have some work stuff to get caught up and then I will take a look at this next week.

I suspect that it may be related to ffmpeg though similar to what Martin reported in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...-PVR-demux

Hello, just checking in on status of the check, had occasion to use with NMT and it still doesn't seem to be buffering the NMT despite a big buffer?

<General hqThumbs="false" useBufferForNMT="true" useBufferForPC="true" sticky="true">
<FFmpegPath>C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins\YouTube\ffmpeg.exe</FFmpegPath>
<FFmpegCommandLine>-f mpegts -vcodec copy -acodec copy -vbsf h264_mp4toannexb</FFmpegCommandLine>
<BufferLocation>D:\YouTube\Buffer</BufferLocation>
<NMTBufferKB>2048</NMTBufferKB>
<PCBufferKB>8192</PCBufferKB>

I'm still trying to track down the bug. I'm experiencing it intermittenly so its being difficult to nail down.
