I've done a new install of npvr. My PC has an HD-PVR 1212 which works fine with the Arcsoft application. In npvr I've chosen the Arcsoft decoders and the blaster is working fine.

Going to live TV results in a black screen. Recording shows from the guide results in 0KB files and the error "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.

The HD-PVR is setup with the component input. Audio was set for back inputs, but it always switches back to SPDIF.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you sure you had the inputs set correctly at the time you created the channels? The channels store a copy of the setting at the time they were created.

I deleted all the channels, then set the inputs and re-imported the channels, but it's still not working.

Reproduce the problem, and zip and attach the nrecord.log and npvr.log and I'll see if anything stands out.

It looks like that channel was created when you had the SPDIF audio selected.

Before recreating the channel, also make sure you've got the latest patches installed from the sticky post in the support thread. There have been a couple of HDPVR related bugs fixed.

I installed the patches, restarted and then deleted all channels and re-imported. Same result. The audio always gets reset to SPDIF as well.

Do you think I should uninstall / reinstall npvr?

Thanks,
Dave
