Hi.
I moved from WinXP to Win7 x64. By some reason, Wakeup.bat does not work any longer, it simply does nothing.
Acording the log, it is executed:

Code:
2012-12-09 12:56:16.113    [DEBUG][7]    Starting: C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts\Wakeup.bat
2012-12-09 12:56:17.513    [DEBUG][5]    cycling MVP servers

Inside is simple

Code:
C:\NPVR\NextPVR.exe

But npvr doesnot start. Not even the process in task manager.

If i run it manually, npvr start, the path C:\NPVR\NextPVR.exe is correct.
I just want to start npvr automatically after wakeup.

What can be wrong? Resuming on Win7 is really fast, can here be a possible problem? Maybe it need to wait some time before NextPVR.exe is executed?

Ideas?

I use Task Scheduler in Win 7 for this kind of stuff. Start --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Task Scheduler.

You can tell it to run a program or batch file after boot or after resume or after logon or after dinner.

Silly question but why would you want to start NextPVR after the computer has resumed unless of course for some reason you stopped it before it went to sleep?

I have read that folk use devcon to disable and enable devices that are broke after resume.

Yes, i used it with my older Hauppauge TV card.
It is a USB device and disabling/enabling it requires OS reboot Sad
