Newbie analog PVR-2250 question

I am trying to record an analog stream from a set top box into a Hauppauge PVR-2250. I have installed SoftPVR. I can see my two analog tuners. When I do a channel scan I see a single channel 3, which is good. I have not setup anything for an EPG. I just want to play shows recorded on my set to box and record them to my PC. I know the signal into my PC is fine. I have recorded live tv with windows Media Center. But all I get from NPVR Live TV is a black screen with ANT3 as the source. Just installed NPVR 1.5.9. I have copied the channel setup from first tuner to second tuner. Is this something I should be able to do with NPVR?

It probably comes down to the decoders you've got selected. Specifically the MPEG2 video and MPEG-1 Layer II audio.

For that sort of usage though, you'd probably better off just using WinTV or something like that.

Thanks Sub. I am an oldtime GBPVR user. Just thought I'd give the new NPVR a shot at it. And yes that solved the problem.
