I can click on the timeline and have it jump to the new part of the file pretty much instantly (less than half second). Is the right arrow supposed to do anything in the PVR playback? The NextPVR addon doesn't really have anything to do with the keyboard handling - this is really XBMC stuff.
When I play the same recording thru the videos tab as an SMB share I am able to use the skip 30 seconds button with almost immediate results.
