Is it just me or does comskip take up to an hour to process a 2hour recording?
If you want to know why nPVR is the bomb, ask my wife!

On my 2.0 GHZ P4, with 512, it takes about ¼ of the recording time, if the PC is idle.

Mine is an XP 4800, just slightly overclocked (about 8%), running 1 gig dual channel DDR 400 at full speed, on an MSI K8N Neo 4.

Yup 1-2 hrs at least for each hr of recording. Of course I am running on a p3 700mhz machine.

One day...when i save enough money, I'll have a dual cpu setup as my HTPC!
