sub and mvallevand may remember my struggles with trying to get a button press to change the NICAM (Dual Language) out of my cable box.
Martin did a fantastic job of helping me setup a Webserver in Eventghost for the MVP. Never tried it with the PCH though.
Unfortunately, I had to give it up for two reasons (a) the cable box changed and (b) leaving Eventghost on seemed to interfere with recordings sometimes.
Australian Open coverage has prompted me to look into this again, and all I need is a button that sends "Enter, Down, Enter, Back".
Then I started thinking, rather than Eventghost, if NPVR could send those Keystrokes as a "fake" Channel, it would achieve the same thing.
So what I am wishing for is the ability to send not only channel numbers, but ANY of the four keys above; I'd then add the fake channel to the Channel List, and select it when I wanted the Audio to change.
Would this work?
