Hey, I think I found the problem! I have no xexport.exe file! Wink
It looks like I didn't get the latest, latest one....going to test again.

Didn't matter. I have it now, and even a log file for it. Still nothing. Log file has nothing but the startup info.

One thing of note: it did add a dat file, finally...for another show...from 2-3wks ago, that I didn't play, and it did it today.

Odd? Normal? It's almost like it's housekeeping, but not doing things it just recorded.

I really appreciate the support.

Cpl of quick questions:
- How do you run on an exisitng recording?
- Off (this) topic: will there be a quick to what the settings mean the CP?

I get a lot out of this plugin, so I'm interested.

There are two ways to do this in xrecord click on a recording and say export. Or you can hit stop and hit export all (will export all ready shows)

To run the exe on a file it exports the first item that matches

So if a file is

F:\Recordings\NipTuck_2005071510001100.mpg

you can say xexport NipTuck_20050715 (and it will export the first one with a match

I am not quite sure what you mean. Can you rephrase.

That worked great....and now I get what that is for! Thx! I always thought it was going to export it to some storage dir outside of the recordings folder (like an archieve function). Both one and all worked perfectly, and they were dat files (this is now that one show must have gotten one, as I mentioned below as odd), so I can generate them manually.

For details about functions, I means when you go into the CP settings, and see things like "advanced" and "vbr enabled", etc. I've figured out the vbr one (and it was why I was getting bad math on my free space in another post), but I'm sure there are others that wonder what they are.

One other thing I've noticed some bugs in the new esc/back nav you added. I love it, but when you use it, you think esc will bring you to the menu on the right, but it backs you up to it. It would be cool (if possible) if it esc'ed you to the side menu.

Also, it doesn't seem to let you out of the reoccuring and scheduler displays (something about how they are laid out I think, and they are up/down).

I will look into those issues. Probably early next week (trying to get my house ready for sale).

I need to document the config panel more. Advaned is the icon mode if it is not checked it becomes a list of show names. I personally like the pictures better.

Ahhhh. Ok. Don't ask how, but I got it to do that once via a bunch of key mashing, so I knew it was a view. I prefer the icon layout as well, so that's good to know.

Take care of your biz, of course. I've only bought not sold, but I know that will keep you busy (maybe those shows they have on tips to prep for sale would help). There's nothing pressing in getting nav and xexport working right away. It's just good for know to know what (x)exporting is now, and how to do it manually.

This is the first time I am selling either. I own two house right now am selling one now the other in a month or so. I have made enough money (3x in 4 years on one) time to get out.

I have been watching the designed to sell. Problem is when you have two kids at home that you work around it means your free time is after 11pm until you pass out.

Well I finally upldated to the latest version of GBPVR and Xrecord... Great job guys... Time to get it all squared away again...

How do I change the total number of images that appear on the screen? I went into the skin.xml file and changed a few values with no luck.
It appears as though there are 7 across although only 4 show up on the screen for my setup. Also, the spacing from top to bottom is so great that the 2nd row gets cut off. Any help would be appreciated.
