I believe the keep five records is design to accept five records of a show and then STOP recording until some of those five are watched and deleted.
Here's an idea: Add an *option* that automatically deletes the oldest show and always allow a new show to be recorded. In other words, make it a rotating collection of the latest five shows.
WHY? Let's say I record Jay, Jay, the jet plane for my son. I'd love to have a little collection of shows "on-tap" to launch when I need it. I don't care if some never get watched (deleted before we get some TV time in) but a first-in, first-out option for this type of show would keep the group of five from getting too stale...
