Sorry, here is that attachment.

I'm not sure on your other problem. I'll take another look at the logs in a half hour or so.

Nope, still can't watch in-progress hdpvr recordings on the client. Same major problem in NRecord.log as above

Do you still get this specific error in SharedMemoryHelper.GetDescription(), or something else? I was getting this, but that last patch fixed it for me.

Zogg Wrote:I think there's something wrong with the file deletion logic. Currently watching a show and I have these buffer files:

XX.ts
XX.8.ts
XX.9.ts
XX.10.ts

The files in between were deleted in progress but the original wasn't. When I stopped watching live TV the original file was deleted but 8-10 weren't.
Hmm, you shouldn't have to do this, but on your client, if you view the Settings->Misc screen, and set it to the same path as the server users, does it help with the deletion of buffer files after viewing live tv from the client? Create the same directory on the client if you need to be able to set it. ie, you don't have to point it to same directory that the server is using, just the same path. So if the server is set to use c:\myrecordings, then try creating a c:\myrecordings on the client and set the client's live tv buffer directory to that on the Settings->Misc screen. Hopefully you understand what mean?

You sound surprised but I have reported exactly the same thing countless times even recently in this thread. I record live tv to c:\temp and I have a c:\temp on the client.

Sorry. I'm juggling quite a lot of stuff, and sometimes things get forgotten or slips through the cracks.

The attached update should remove the need to have directory on the client.

It's over two years now, so I've assumed it might never be fixed. Perhaps I was tenacious enough.

Could I get your latest nshared? Maybe this last zip had the wrong file for playing in-progress hdpvr recordings.
