sub Wrote:Martin still seems to have some other problem going on though, which I'm still trying to get to the bottom of.I just watched 40 minutes of hockey, it crashed once with read = 0 plus trace error while it played and I wasn't touching the keyboard or mouse. Of the two errors this is the most annoying, because I have to kill the task and not just x of NextPVR. Martin

I'm noticing that with the post-R2 rollup (primarily patches from this thread), I can't skip live tv back more than 2 minutes, 50 seconds. I can pause and resume further back than 2:50, but once I go forward again, I can only go back to -2:50.
This happens on both server and client - the behavior is exactly the same. more detail: if I pause for awhile and get 10 minutes behind live then resume it resumes in the right spot, and forward skips work fine. however, as soon as I try to skip backwards if my position is further back than -2:50, it immediately jumps forward to -2:50. example: -start live tv -pause for 10 minutes -resume, timeline says -10:00 -skip forward 3x, timeline says -7:00 -skip backwards, timeline says -2:50 -skip backwards again, timeline says -2:50

anyone else seeing the livetv issues I reported above? It seems too specific to be just me.

Give me 10 minutes.

In the meantime, does this happen on both SD and HD channels? I currently have an HD channel paused.

Nope, not happening here. I can skip back beyond -2:50 and timeline shows properly.

and you're using the same code as me? latest pre-release plus post-r2 rollup?

@johnsonx42, Are you installing the Post-R2 patch, and then the nshared.dll and managed.dll files from this thread, or in a different order?
2013-03-02, 04:23 AM
the post-r2 roll-up patch includes the latest versions of NShared.dll and Unmanaged.dll. Unmanaged.dll is the same version as in this thread, NShared.dll is actually newer.
