Added third hvr-1600 and NPVR stops behaving?

I will start with my system setup:
asua p4c800e deluxe mobo
3.4 gig cpu
3 gig mem
nvidia 5950 video card
1Tb wd hard drive for recordings
winxp sp3
NPVR 2.5.9
3 hvr-1600 tunner cards using ATSC (driver ver. 1.62.28243.0)

The setup works perfectly with two hvr-1600s installed but when I add the third one I can record two shows but only one of them is playable and I can not watch a thrid one. If I record one show I am not able to watch another. I have attached my logs.

XP is not always stable with multiple tuners. Do you have the dvbfix (search on google) installed?

The dvbfix.zip made no change. I attached the new log files.

looks like NPVR isn't able to sort out the pins:

this happens on tuner 20, and 22. Only 26 seems to work.

the question is who's fault is it: is the pin medium messed up with 3 HVR-1600's, or is NPVR mishandling it when there are 3 HVR-1600's?

have you updated to the latest driver from Hauppauge? (oh, nevermind, I see that you have)

Well I don't have WinTV7 installed and I can't find my CD so I can't answer that question.

The Program Files\NPVR folder should have filtercheck.exe. Running this should produce filtercheck.log. Somebody might see something helpful if you post that log. You might need to Run as Administrator (or move the .exe to another folder).

XP definitely has a problem with multiple tuners and for me NextPVR would crash as soon as a second recording started! DVBfix cured that problem but for me stopped scanning for channels working correctly. I did set up a batch file to switch the "fix" in or out but in the end a far more reliable solution was to switch to Vista for both the server and client.
