Sorry sub but it's still the same, I have attached the logs again. This time I tested just pressing stop on the channel and it still continued to record even though xbmc had stopped playback.
I have attached the new logs and also the logs from the original nshared.dll dated 24th of Oct 2012 which is still working fine.

Here is another one you can try. I've increased a timeout. Test it with most recent nshared.dll when posting the log.

Try again with this patch. It adds more logging.

The service won't start and I get this error in the nrecord.log

No worries sub, thanks for trying. I'll just stick with R1 and the original dll as it's good enough to use on a daily basis for now and see what happens in future updates.

Can you post the R1 nshared.dll or a link to it? First time install and I put the R2 patch on it and now it only stops the recording and deletes the ts files if we push stop on live tv before exiting. This makes for a poor WAF. I appreciate all the work you do sub!

did you try the Post-R2 rollup 2 version? I thought that issue had been fixed somewhere in there.

I've attached the 2.5.9 R1 patch archive.

NPVR 2.6 should be released within the next couple of days; please test with that as soon as you can.

If you install the R1 update posted above me and then use the nshared.dll from here. http://forums.gbpvr.com/attachment.php?a...1351277088

This is the last version to work perfectly for me in XBMC. Fingers crossed my issue is resolved in 2.6.
