I hope I am wrong but for this particular problem I suspect it will mainly allow sub the option of providing patches. The downside is can't be downgraded with select 2.5 patches.

That is correct. The next release will just make it possible to provide patches again, so I can continue investigating issues like these that I've been unable to reproduce.
right, that's why I told him to look for the 2.6 release and test right away. I figure if you want to troubleshoot this you'll want to do it pretty quick after 2.6 is available... people who show up with 2.6 bugs a month later may be out of luck.
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct main client: NextPVR 5.0.7 Desktop Client; LG 50UH5500 WebOS 3.0 TV
The interesting (and frustrating) thing is that after I upgraded to 2.6.2 the XBMC usually didn't show the live TV (Saying 'tuner not available') so I had to patch it using "NPVR Post-R2 Rollup 2"... now the DLLs are not new anymore, and I wouldn't know if/how to upgrade/patch the version.. I could downgrade to 2.5.9, but I'm afraid to lose the XBMC improvements (although not sure I enjoy them once I installed the patch).
Ok I completely uninstalled the previous version of both xbmc and nPvr, I then reinstalled both with 2.6.2 & the latest nightly build from xbmc with both fresh configs although I copied my npvr.db3 and icon files from my previous version. I then tested by starting a channel, stopping it and then exiting xbmc. Still with the same results, the recording was still active after exiting xbmc.

Can you reproduce the problem with 2.6.2 and this updated addon, then post the logs?
Ah right. He's going to need to use Frodo if he wants me to investigate it further. I will be moving my development to the new tree soon, but intend to stick with Frodo for a little longer before I do that.
