Tuner no longer available (2.6.2)

Things are working fine with windows version of XBMC Frodo 12.1 and NextPVR Cliient 1.6.2. and 1.6.4

Linux and OpenELEC are a different story however.

Let's focus on Linux for now...

Symptom: When trying to watch Live TV, XBMC error "Tuner no longer available".

NextPVR Client: 1.6.4

Stream begins to record in Live TV Buffer location until NPVR Recording Service is restarted.

If you take the + sign out of the name will it play?

Sorry just deleted my post as i tested again and it wouldn't play in nPvr, will try deleting the + from the name cheers.

Apologies for hijack!

I wasn't sure where to put this as all the xbmc integration still seems unclear to me.

I get the tuner no longer available message with the 2.6.2 NextPVR update and a Raspbmc latest build that is showing the NextPVR add-on as 1.6.4.

I am never sure where to ask about these kind of issues?!

That's solved my problem Martin, cheers. Just out of curiosity was it the length of the channel name that was causing the problem as I have other +1 channels which worked fine?

I personally think it was temporary glitch but it's something I would have tried, but you could find out if you reset it back to the +1
