I did a quick test and it does seem to jump over the trouble area using Timing.Info on this short file. Could you try to play JParkoutputfile2.ts, you need to use the attached Timing.Info file, and do some 30 second jumps. The problem is at 1:12 right after there is a girl talking to Sam Neill and before it jumps to Laura Dern so you want to see if you can skip before this.

Just so I am clear on what you want me to do.

I am assuming this is like a new show, so I make a new dir with JParkoutputfile2.ts in it, and put JParkoutputfile2.ts.Timing into the same dir, import this into NPVR and play it with my popcornhour?

I do not need the .edl or .txt comskip file (I assume they wouldn't work anwyay).

I wasn't expecting that. Are you sure you are running mvpmcx2 from the wiki?

I believe so ... both in my USB in the popcornhour and in the shared dir that the NPVR can assess in the absence of the USB.

16/3/2012 - looks correct?

btw will be out of town for a few days so will not be able to attach extracts of the show until early next week.

Could a couple of NMT users do me a favour and download and test the 120MB file that jksmurf uploaded http://www.fileconvoy.com/dfl.php?id=gf8...1b2f6fc63a and post your NextPVR logs BrettB tried and didn't experience jksmurf's issue and so I need to see how others work

I'd like you test by skipping around a problem area that I discuss here
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post456684 It's important to add the Timing.Info file from that post.

Thanks,

Martin

I restarted my recording service, started the NMT, went to Videos, navigated to the directory to which I had copied the ts & Timing Info files, started playing, skipped forward and backwards with no issues. (Note that my "long forward skip is one minute and not thirty seconds.) I then stopped my recording service & zipped the logs.

Thanks ElihuRozen. If you still have the file could you try one more test,

Start playing at the beginning skip forward the minute skip back (30 seconds) and then skip forward again which should be around 90 seconds in.

I did the indicated skips & grabbed the logs

Thanks Elihu, those skips are good too. K, sorry based on what I've seen I just can't explain why you are getting those weird times.
