Two questions though.
1. Is there any way to make rename VPRJ files as well?
2. It sometimes grabs the wrong show if there are several of the same name. Is there any way to have it link a title to a TVDB ID?

I have released a guidePlus version .86 that a) adds vprj as a valid extension and has the switch you need for TVDB ID. Essentially you need to open your showfile and find the show entry you want to enter an ID for (Example "Leverage")
Remove all the existing show descriptions (all text to the next new show) and add an arg with the TVDB ID to the line as below.

From
NEWSHOW~~Leverage~~0~~n/a~~0}}
..... a whole bunch of episode descriptions ......
NEWSHOW~~Friends~~0~~n/a~~0}}

to

NEWSHOW~~Leverage~~0~~n/a~~0~~83399}} (replace the 83399 with the correct TVDB ID for your show)
NEWSHOW~~Friends~~0~~n/a~~0}}

Let me know if it works as the change seemed rather straightforward and I have not had a chance to test.

Seems like the TVDB ID gets changed to "exactmatchonly" when it's run.

Are you sure you are using .86?

carpeVideo, I'm not sure if you know but I found that when I added VPrj support to imageGrabLite, I had to update a filename inside the file too.

What are the details on the file - I assumed it was just a video file that can be played directly like a .ts or .mpg?

I redownloaded, and it now does this:

NEWSHOW~~Dennis the Menace~~0~~n/a~~0~~77891}} becomes NEWSHOW~~Dennis the Menace~~0~~n/a~~0}}

As for VPRJ files, they are VideoRedo's equivalent to EDL files:

Second line has the name of the file:
<Version>2
<Filename>H:\TVHOLD\_hold\Aqua Teen Hunger Force.s04e08.Global_Grilling.ts

There is no </filename> surprisingly.

Ah - one adjustment needed I need to write the ID in the showfile as it is recreated. I will try to do that tomorrow.

So if the vprj is like and edl file I assume I need to move it with its video file and change the name/path in the vprj as well?

One last question on the vprj files -does it have the same name as the video file (eg Aqua Tenn Hunger Force.s04e08.Global_Grilling.vprj) or is does it have another name?

I was lazy not knowing the format but it seems to work. I load the entire vprj file into a string vprj then issue the following before overwriting it.

vprj = vprj.Replace(Path.GetFileNameWithoutExtension(source), Path.GetFileNameWithoutExtension(dest));

source comes from Directory.GetFiles() dest is new filename
