I think samsung need to fix firmware and nothing else will do
It should play the ts files I have had many media players and none have had issues playing the files
Ac Ryan , popcorn hour a100,media gate , and others none have had issue the player is broken plain and simple
The problem is how do I get Samsung to see this and do something about it.

0.072 doesn't load
Gets to the screen where it says loading plugins but then the whole machine turns off and restarts
Tried deleting reloading
Unplugging at wall etc

Just gets weirder
If I use the built in Samsung all share the files skip ok
Only shows the ts files no transcoded to mp4

another possible work around code be to use a DLNA/UPNP server to serve the files instead of nextpvr (maybe the http streaming is the cause). but that would require
1. Me finding a server that I can construct URLs out of
2. Additional configuration will be needed for the upnp server
3. an additional app to install on the nextpvr server
4. figuring out how to playback upnp streams in a samsung app.

Fongers crossed a firmware update may be around the corner that fixes the issue

if you can get a sample of the video, say 20mins in length and upload it to mega.co.nz or similar site.

I could look at it, and try and reproduce the problem. I could then report it to samsung on their developers forum.

be interesting to see if it plays on your 2013 tv through npvr

I have 3 different type of devices I can test it on, a 2013 tv, a 2012 tv (my brothers) and a 2012 br. hopefully it doesnt work on one of those.
