sure you could do it a couple of ways but its not an option I really want to do, theres just so many things to go wrong with it. it would be better if this was in the core of nextpvr as it would access to the raw streams.

True, trouble though (as I see it) is there seems no rhyme or reason...for example I have a 2013 Blu-ray player with issues however others with older devices have no problem, but the tv's in the latest are okay...Will be hard moving forward if we don't have the file changed on the fly to a more compatible format that the Samsung devices are happier with...

well that 15 minute remuxing i think its a pretty good option. you can still watch in progress recordings, but you may have seek issues, but anyones that are older than 15 minutes will play fine
