stustunz Wrote:I disagree with Reven as the 5900 works fine if it were the recordings it would not skip properly on either
Plus I get the exact same results as the guy in oz
Maybe there are errors in the recordings but the player should be able to handle this
Why dos every recording skip exactly the same , at the sme points

well, disagree with me all you want, its the truth. my recordings work fine on all my players (i do get an occasional error recording, which I can see has problems in the original TS file, to fix this I just reencode in handbrake then they work fine) . the "bad" recordings dont work fine, they have errors in them. some players yes are better handling those errors than others (and yes samsung should fix them - their dev support is terrible btw), but if you're recordings are fine then any supported player should work.

Well, the player itself is great.
Plex is nice to use - pity I can't do a play all on a series (where it plays all the shows in a random play list)

Reven, once you release the app, will it just be available through the smart hub? ( I know you've said you have enough beta testers currently)

Thanks

Just loaded the new version WOW it works great
Didn't work at first but then I found the setting (use seek adjuster) and BOOM! we have skipping
Set a recording even

Any chance of adding press play to skip adds with comskip (I don't use auto skip comskip is never that good)

will keep playing and see if I can find a pattern
