white box gone
time is out by 1 hour but if I put clock(on bluray player) back an hour to correct the date is wrong

•Now uses server time by default instead of device time (can revert back to device time via settings if this is wrong for some reason, please let me know if this works for you!) I had to update all the dates to use a global function that can adjust the time. If you find one area that the time is wrong please let me know.

I couldn't see this setting will look again tomorrow

how it does it, is get time from server, this is epoch (should be in servers timezone), get now (clients timezone), and just takes the difference. and then whenever it gets the date it does new Date().addSeconds(difference).

So even with timezone difference on the client, it might say its an hour difference to the server, it should add an hour (or subtract) to make it correct. Well thats the theory.

Ill add some more logging to it in the next version.

That sounds great but going by this pic my server is running in the future

Edit only posted because I thought it was funny this was what it showed the first time I opened the app when I reopened it showed the 1 hour behind thing

in plex you can add a hour or take off an hour or what ever you need wouldn't that be the easiest solution ?

the idea here is to keep the guide + mini guide in sync with the server. otherwise the mini guide asks for "whats the next 2 shows" the server responds, but if your tv says its 8:26 but the server thinks its 8:31, then the returned results arent expected. So letting you manually set the time wont help there.

It will just be a silly little thing, once I get more debugging in there (or maybe Ill just look at the code and go, oh dah) I should be able to fix it.

If I turn off update daylight saving time on the server the time is correct when I select sync time with server

those three values you talk about says the time is out by 7 seconds when day light savings selected

when its not selected it gets the time right and says its Timediff(seconds):3592
