using comskip with NTL

Is anybody succesfully using comskip with an NTL cable signal, have been twiddling with it fir a week now and am getting extremely poor results. the only things it deals with correctly is the BBC which has no ads.

I dont use NTL but with telewest I had reasonable success with version 0.43 of comskip, since then results have been fairly poor and at the moment I have given up

Hi,

I have very good succes with comskip version 0.6. But I had to modify the comskip.ini file to increase the maximum commercial break length. Standard was 305 seconds, now I have 505 seconds and it finds practically every break. That is in the Netherlands...

I noticed this weekend that comskip can run while watching the recording. I often start watching while recording. When close to the end of the recording (the actual recording had already stopped) I pressed the blue button to see that the commercials were already marked! Great!
However, the other way around (starting watching while comskip is analyzing caused an error).
