Multiple Hauppauge drivers

I've been running GB/N-PVR for ages with a Hauppauge 1600 but I just bought a 950Q with the hope of getting improved ATSC reception. I want to leave the 1600 in place and add the 950Q. Do I need to install the drivers that came with the 950Q or will the installed 1600 drivers work? I'm trying to avoid installing the drivers because I don't want my system cluttered up with WinTV that forces itself on when you just want a driver.

It seems the different tuners do need different drivers. Fortunately Hauppauge has driver only instructions on their web site.
