Not sure if I am posting this in the right forum please forgive me if I am. I am using Comskip on my recordings and I cannot get a playback with out the commercials playing. I am seeing the texts and edl files as I should. I know I am missing something but not sure what it is. Any suggestions?

Check your config.xml file, if you want auto skipping, set "<AutoSkip>true</AutoSkip>"

You have missed attaching your logs. They will show whether or not NextPVR is properly reading the edl files.

Do I need the record log or he regular NPVR log? I checked the config.xml and it was set to auto skip.

Also you should see black bands appear on the time line where the commercials are.
You may need to tweak/tune comskip

Just NPVR, but in the future simply compress the whole folder rather than asking, it saves a needless post/response.

I double checked, I do have the txt files with the pointers in them but the EDL file is there but has 0 bytes. Not sure what is happening there.
