Now that SA has "arrived", I wanted to be the first to pose this question. Big Grin
How can I have SA run on my finished recordings, via postprocessing.bat (or automatically otherwise on "in progress" recordings), and when done (creating the comskip-like .txt file) have comclean do it's thing?

SA can supposibly generate a Comskip-like .txt files

I think you can run SA via postprocessing.bat like

ShowAnalyzer %1

Does the text file look like comskip?

Haven't tried the above...

I downloaded comskip proxy from http://www.dragonglobal.org/modules.php?...load&cid=2

Copy that to your devnz\gbpvr directory and put

Code:
Comskip %1

In your devnz\gbpvr\postprocessing.bat
reboot

This isn't about running comskip. I have that, and know how to use it.
Do I need comskip proxy to run SA?
SA does produce a comskip-like .txt file, BUT...can it simply be run from postprocessing.bat as Jorm mentioned?

i know I'm talking about calling SA: Comskip PROXY is called by postprocessing.bat and in turn calls SA (I think)

Just waitng for a scheduled show to finish...

If you have show analyzer working then try in a shell to call

showanalyzer %1 if it generates a txt you dont need the comskip proxy.

I am still trying to get showanalyzer to work still running into either key problems (I dont have one) or it does not like my free libraries.

I am trying to run it in free mode and dont know if a key is required for that mode.

I was on the alpha programme (having paid my subs) and requested the link and key last night and they arrived promptly - all plain sailing... - Sorry can't be more help

I always thought GB-PVR called comskip anyway regardless of postprocessing.bat and 'comskip proxy' simply replaced comskip.exe and calls SA instead.

It has worked this way for me.

Yes, it will call comskip.exe at the end of each recording if no postprocessing.bat was found, so having the proxy in the directory should be enough.
