It did exist at one point - that was where live TV was recorded to (never finish a sentence with a preposition!).
Clearly, things changedSad

Hi,
Looks good.

1. selecting watch now from any show under what's new appears to append the full path to the url(based on the error from gplayer) any path with a space is not working, e.g. d:\tem\media watch\media watch_2014.....ts will error in any player i have installed (no Transcode)

2. live TV appears to request port 0 when clicking watch now if no transcode is selected

3. with transcode switched on i get messages on my pc of: Interactive Services Detection : > C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\other\ffmpeg.exe (i assume this is a npvr issue)

4. cancel button on a current recording appears to not do anything.

5. Clear data under settings does not appear to work after opening app again the guide is there without any reloading (i was trying to get a new show to appear in whats new section)

6. the Drop down lists E.g. Seven Day /Now/Next / All time slots - appear to be smaller than most other items in the app and a little hard to select the correct one.

Thanks

It should be using standard url encoding so spaces should be replaced with %20 which should work. I'll check it out.

Can you explain further? I don't understand that.

Quote:3. with transcode switched on i get messages on my pc of: Interactive Services Detection : > C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\other\ffmpeg.exe (i assume this is a npvr issue)
I've just Googled for this. It seems to be something introduced to Vista and later Windows versions. Something to do with programs attempting to interact with the desktop session. I'm not sure how to fix it though.

By "current" do you mean in progress? I'll look into it.

Quote:5. Clear data under settings does not appear to work after opening app again the guide is there without any reloading (i was trying to get a new show to appear in whats new section)
I don't know why that would fail - it's consistently successful for me. I'll check the code.

What sort of device are you using? I'm guessing it's a phone. I agree it is tricky to use and I'm looking at other ways of doing it.

Cheers,
Brian

2. Transcode turned on url appears to be: http://192.168.43.100:8866
transcode off url appears to be http://192.168.43.100:0 --which fails

4. yes, in progress

5a. i still can't get the "whats new" or "ready" sections to update the new shows recorded last night, I've tried use clear and update guide but i'm not having any luck. i do have two npvr/ndroid servers and have change between and both don't have the most recent shows

Also is it possible to show more days in the what new section, on npvr i show the last 300.

6. Galaxy note 2

OK, I'll take a close look at that.

It should get the setting for number of days from config.xml but I'll check.

OK, I'll look into that, the data should be automatically updated on the computer if you have the PostProcessing.bat setting shown on the nDroid wiki page and it should certainly have updated with a restart of the nDroid Service.

OK, this will change when I move over to the new NEWA services.

On a previous point - how can you tell the port number is 0 when transcode is turned off? I spent quite some time trying to work it out but can't see anything in my code which would do that. It should either use 8791 (the nDroid Service streamer without transcode) or 8866 (the npvr streamer with transcoding).

i'm not certain that its trying port 0 only that:
i click a show that currently airing, then click watch:
(no transcode)
MX player: Can't play this video
Gplayer: error: http://192.168.43.100:0/live?channel=2&client=842b....
vlc: http://192.168.43.100:0/ playback error

I just installed GPlayer - yes, agreed, I'm seeing an error indicating port 0. I still can't think why that's happening. I'll dig into the code further.
