TheaterListing: Missing theaters

Some theaters show up, but not all. It's the big chains (Century, Regal) that are missing.

At Fandango, I noticed that these chains have a logo gif in the listing.

Anyone else notice this or have missing theaters?

are you running with the latest. I just ran it and got a bunch of theaters including regals.

Thanks. It was my first time using the plug-in.

I did another refresh just now after reading your post. (Didn't re-install anything).

And voila, now all the theaters show up. Go figure... maybe it some temporary funniness on the Fandango side.

65807 only showes 1 theater,Goodrich Springfield 8 - missing campbell 16, it showes up at fandango- but not in gbpvr, any ideas?

two things.

First you should only see one theater this week. However it should be campbell 16. The other Goodrich Springfield 8 has no shows on fandango so is not shown. So you see no theaters.

The other is that you can delete/hide a theater by hitting ctrl-r. I wonder if that was done.


Look for a file called theaterfilters under gbpvr. Open it in notepad and make sure the theater is not listed. If the file is not there then it is not a problem. In that case email me your size of the dll and the gbpvr\theater\theater.xml file.

I found a free Movie Showtime webservice. I don't know how accurate it is compared to Fandago, but should help eliminate the need to change your code everytime the web page changes.

It contains a WSDL so you should be able to create the necessary .NET code from that as a Web Reference.

I am having the same problem in the 98028 area. I don't get loews or Regal unfortunately they are about the only theaters we go to. Any help Jorm. I just installed my theaterlisting from the wiki tonight, is there a later one somewhere else.
Fandango shows both woodinville and two theatres in Alderwood that are not showing up in the listing. This is super cool if I can get it working for me.
