Hello,

I just upgraded to version 3.2.9 which brought back the IPTV device (Why would you ever remove it in the first place:p)
ALL my tv channels for the purpose of these platforms are IPTV

When I click on liveTV I get the a black screen, it seems to be streaming, but I get the black screen (no need to mention that the channels work just fine if I open them in a browser).

When I added the channels I used the http option.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance

IPTV is a complicated thing since there is no single standard. Instead there is a pile of different protocols and standards in use, and only a very small subset of them will work.

What is the http URL you're using? Just so I can see the format, and ask the next question.

It's why I never gave an iptv UI in Network Recorder Even with direct urls that change too often most aren't mpeg-ts

I thought when you said that the device supports http I thought you meant http of the webpage. If you meant the stream url, then it would be nice if you could add rtmp support as that is one of the most used formats. and if you do, please include detailed instructions on how you want the rtmp link formatted in your platform.

I seldom see udp or rtp streams, but I see rtmp streams all the time unless rtmp is the same a rtp, but I don't think so.

But anyways, do you have any suggestions as to what I can use to record my live IPTV streams within xbmc?

I would like to ask if the IPTV feature works for audio streams like radio broadcasts, and does it work for asx playlist?

In particular I would like to tune to the following radio station, is it possible?
